Agritechnology

The Agritechnology Program offers a sequence of courses that provide challenging academic content standards aligned with immediately applicable  knowledge and skills. This series of courses will prepare students for immediate employment or a basis for advance study of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources career clusters. The courses include technical skill proficiency and competency-based applied learning that are interdependent on academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning/problem-solving skills work attitudes, general employability skills, specialized equipment skills, occupation-specific skills, and mastery of all aspects of the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources career cluster. The content includes but is not limited to instruction in animal and plant production; agribusiness, agricultural mechanics; employability skills, basic science; communications, and human-relations skills. All students applying to this program must meet the following eligibility criteria: 2.5 GPA.
