Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing

The Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing Program provides hands-on training in a fully integrated, state-of-the-art facility. This Academy prepares students for employment in the auto body and refinishing industry and for post-secondary education. The program content includes the following: basic trade skills, refinishing skills, sheet metal repair skills, frame and unibody squaring and aligning, use of fillers, paint systems and undercoats, related welding skills, related mechanical skills, trim-hardware maintenance, glass servicing and other miscellaneous repairs. The course content also includes training in communication, leadership, human relations and employability skills and safe efficient work practices. There are no eligibility criteria required for students applying to this program.
