Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Technology

Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Technology Program prepares students for college or advanced industry training and for employment in the HVAC-R industry. This program focuses on broad transferable skills, stresses the understanding of the air conditioning, refrigeration and heating industry and demostrates elements of industry such as planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, as well as the underlying principles of technology, labor issues, health, safety and environmental issue. Upon completion of this program, the student will be prepared to take the state certification examination for air conditioning, refrigeration and heating mechanics and earn industry certification through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). There are no eligibility criteria required for students applying to this program.
